20 more fos then ca on roster. Take that plus some 20 lines of ioe. Expect 50+ reserves in dfw for july

Not a care in the world.
I jump seated thru DFW and can attest to the awfulness that runs the operation there. It's not a Mesa thing. AA needs to whip those people into shape or fire their asses. I missed my connecting commute flight thanks to those bozos.

It's the culture that AA has created for their brand. And it's not just DFW. Look at the remote terminal at LAX...what a mess! Passengers are ****ed because they have tight connections and then they have to wait in line to take a bus to get to the main terminal. Who in their right mind would treat paying passengers like that? And then everything gets delayed and passengers start to lose their cool. I had a lady curse out one of the flight attendants from the jet bridge, and then proceeded to walk out onto the ramp to yell at the ground crews because there was only one ramper pulling bags.

The passengers, who vote with their $$$, are the only ones with the power to change any of this. But it doesn't matter because come this fall when it's time to go see grandma, AA will be $20 cheaper than United and those previous bad experiences won't even be a distant memory in their minds.

If we are so over staffed at least on the pilot side in DFW, are other CRJ bases short on people? Or is this possibly a sign of things to come such as more CRJ flying.

Walking through the B terminal and seeing lines of people at the service desks getting rebooked and vouchers because of cancellations.

Gate agents hiding in the jetways because they don't want to face the peeps and clean up the Mesamess.

Mesa pilots walking through the terminal looking like whipped dogs, afraid to look anyone in the eyes or untucked their tails.

The McDonalds at the 30ish gates can't make enough dollar menu burgers quick enough to feed all the poor Mesa FOs. (I hear they are hiring more help for you reserve FOs not being used)

And why are all of the Mesa FAs always sprinting from gate to gate?

I really hope you guys are able to turn it around in DFW, if not it's probably okay because AA won't give you the boot since you own the airplanes.
What's ironic is that you point at mesa. However just look at today's stats system wide.

Cancelled % OVR Delayed % OVR Airline
297 15% 496 25% ExpressJet
133 13% 314 30% Envoy Air
130 3% 629 15% Southwest
92 4% 733 32% United
76 19% 154 39% Spirit
56 2% 309 16% SkyWest
47 8% 166 30% Shuttle America
38 13% 99 34% GoJet
30 5% 145 25% Mesa

I'm just saying.

Don't bother pointing out that there's a tropical storm in Texas where Envoy and XJT operate a large quantity of flights. That's why single day snapshots are worthless.

And mesa does not? That was exactly my point posting a single weather day snapshot with the big 3 Texas regionals. It was a rebuttal to the OP, notice how it was quoted in context.
A little Thick?

I'm smarter than you but that's OK. What point are you making without context? How many of those flights were premptively canceled by the codeshare partners? How many were crew or maintenance related? Those stats mean nothing.
