When they ask for your CASS employee number the format is a 0 followed by your 5 digit employee number:

0XXXXX

So YV0XXXXX or YV XXXXX are both incorrect.

Was this the problem you ran into?

You have to list via the myIDtravel site.

Log into the main employee site, go to the pass bureau section, and it's the last box down on the far left column. It has the username and password, as well as the link, listed there.

Oh, and welcome to the "new" American

Everybody gets one...

You need to call 1888weflyaa or use the link form pass bureau with the login credentials to do it online. This creates a reservation PNR. Gate agents look up either your PNR or your reservation and create a listing with that information. The correct thing to say is "I have a reservation, and need to be listed for the flight as a D6". A lot of the gate agents are BRAND NEW and have no idea what to do do keep it simple and polite.

Just be prepared to get bumped by Envoy and possibly SkyWest/ExpressJet pilots.

Well she had been their for a year. I was not watching her enter the info but she tried evening thing. The computer kept pulling up a message saying the the employee (me) needs to call in to a 1800 number, then it gives a error and not able to list. So she just basically let me get on the plane with out being on the manifest. I will give the IDtravel and the 0 before the ee # tomorrow. I appreciate the advice. Heading to DFW tomorrows and then South America for some R&R the day after.

So the truth being you are "outsourcing" American Airlines pilot jobs.

This madness needs to stop.

Ya just love the New american!!!! I don't even know if they know what the brand stands for. Like united is more geared to business travelers but american seems to lack taste. I still just don't know who their Audience is.

It's too bad you can't do what every other airline does and list for a JS at the gate. The other day a friend of mine was telling me that she had to leave a commuting OAL pilot at the gate because he couldn't get through on the 800 number and didn't have his company's myidtravel password to create his own listing. The gate agent wouldn't let him down.
