Does anyone know what the executives make who run Mesa? What are their bonuses like?

Mesa is a privately held company so their compensation packages are not publicly released. Why not try asking them on the next conference call? LOL

And can we get something in there about minimum hotel quality? Microtel ain't cutting it.
I can tell you right now that changing reserve buffers, as well as day/duty rigs won't happen, period. As for stupidly low pay rates: did you already forget that you signed up to work here at the published rates? I'm not saying they won't improve at all, but dont expect leaps and bounds. If you're holding out for a sunshine and rainbow ta that will set the new standard for the regional industry, you're fooling yourself, and leaving money on the table in the meantime.
A reserve buffer of 15 in June is understandable, but not 28 in April. Added transparency and a month flush with reserves where not every day is red is all I'm suggesting.

Stupidly low pay rates: can we graduate to "low pay rates" and get rid of the "stupidly." Nobody expects industry-leading, nice as that would be, but can we not be at the very back of the pack? Once Great Lakes is gone, discounting RAH's cancellation work rules, our pay rates are pretty much last.

I do hear what you're saying Nav. I'm all for realistic pragmatism. But let's not manage our expectations to the point of gaining an inch when we could gain a foot. Aim for the moon and you'll get over the fence.

According to APC pay rates listed, Great Lakes is already better than mesa. For atp qualified pilots anyways. The non atp isn't to far behind either. Not sure how accurate it is though.

[LIST][*]First the envy /aa agents and now the aa commuters ..mesa is messy.. on the aa/us f/a fb page[*]Tobias Baker

Does anyone else commute on American Eagle operated by Mesa Airlines? (gates B40-B49 in DFW) I HIGHLY URGE you to start tracking your horrific commutes on them and write your concerns to [email protected] (He is the VP of AA Ops in DFW...and ask him to forward to appropriate person) or [email protected] (he is the Regional Director of Eagle Operations) or [email protected] (Director of System Operations control of Eagle). I commute from Louisville SDF. Since Mesa took over our Mainline Jets on the SDF-DFW route in Dec. commuting has become A NIGHTMARE with delays/cancellations. Just looking over the past week out of 40 flights to DFW only 4 have operated ontime, 33 (79%) delayed ( 60% or 24 >1hr, 25%or 9 > 2hrs, and 10%or 4 >4hrs), 3 (8%) cancelled and JUST 4 operated ontime! That's a whopping 10% ontime rating and 90% delayed/cxld! I counted almost 350 passengers that would have had to been put up in hotel rooms due to misconnecting to due nonweather delays. Mesa Airlines is THE MOST PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN AIRINE EVER and they are RUINING our great name. I know I'm not alone. I URGE you to please write them up and send in your concerns (with facts...you know AA likes facts). You can track delays in RES by typing 2FLT#/date...for example for flight 100/17jun would be 2100/17JUN enter.

Jeff James Delta had a "come to Jesus" meeting with Mesa over poor performance. I hope the same "holy spirit" comes over Doug to give Mesa a call. But maybe he has been busy with Air Wisconsin....

Exactly how are you supposed to run an on-time operation when you sit short of the gate for 40 minutes waiting on a ground crew to bring you in?

AA replaced several of the stations ops managers at DFW as a direct result of the problems Mesa has been having. That should provide a hint as to where some of the bigger problems have been.

I have never had a problem with any of the out stations. It's the Envoy rampers at DFW that are the problem. Hopefully AMR sees this and that is why they have been lenient and patient with us. I didn't realize ZW was having problems though.

DFW rampers and gate agents are a joke.

MX still a persisting issue as well. Already up to 20 canceled flights for today, all to or from DFW.
