So has anyone succeeded in getting in touch with recruiting?

"Parring" is the correct form.
I guess parring is an ok schedule, but a birdieing or eagle ling is a great schedule.

Years ago, and not sure if it has changed, they could go into your day off as far as 2:00am before they had to give you a new one.

I find the 30 hour overnight considered as a day off worrisome. I really want to disbelieve this story, but I'm having trouble completely disbelieving it. I REALLY hope they aren't turning to these tactics again.
Yes your correct, midnight to midnight. It can be extended into your day off until 200am. If it goes past that, you can argue (that's what it would take) for another day off. 30 hour layover is not a day off. Surely when we signed that new contract in 08 we didn't let this one slip as well. Like they can put a line holder on reserve now, that was impossible before 08.

Sounds like the job fair is the way to go now. Don't know why some of you folks are not getting a call back. I think Mesa knows they are the darlings of the regionals right now because of the new airplane contracts. Sounds like the craziest thing I ever heard but Mesa might be getting picky. Unless there is a job fair this month expect things to be quiet until next year.

Judging by some of the characters in my class, Mesa is barely even screening its new hires, let alone being picky. They have, however, managed to fill quite a few upcoming classes.

My thought exactly, maybe they just aren't calling people back that call them. Sounds like all the peeps that have tried to contact them are the ones not getting a call back. I dunno

What exactly do you mean? Disheveled oily look? Raising their hands with absurd irrelevant and annoying questions? Old? What?

Or the better question is what were you expecting? High caliber individuals with expensive degrees; sharp dressers; well spoken intelligent pilot-esque white collar professionals?

News flash people! We're skilled labor-period! If you feel differently then go ahead and scribble a couple more zeros onto the end of your paycheck and pretend you're something special.

ps don't take personal RVSM - I'm venting

I get what you're saying, and they're all nice guys. Just not sure they'd have made it through the screening process at regionals that actually care to interview their candidates.

A bit of everything probably.
