"....quality and professionalism of our crews"

Maybe for now, let people like fozjared keep cold calling people with a class date and that is bound to change.

So to change the subject.. Any chance Mesa will get real LCR language in the new contract?

Yes. Absolutely.

In 15 years however. Seriously, think about it... there are warm bodies filling every new hire class 95%, many say they are chasing a quick upgrade to the 170, and there are still pilots behind those. PSA just signed their new contract reducing existing pay and benefits. What leverage, if ANY does ALPA have to corner JO into an improved contract?. They could hide behind the RLA indefinitely... right until their hands are forced to make this place more attractive. The 170/PSA TA effectively took the wind from the NC's sails. Moral of my rant: don't expect any QOL or pay improvements any time soon. I'll save my (and APC's) WARNING of "Chasing the quick upgrade or "SJS" in exchange for substandard pay and work rules. (Spoken from experience)

Classes are being filled now, but that will end. As soon as another regional signs a contract that attracts the available pilots that remain.

I agree...

We can speculate until I run out of beer (ie never) as to when/whom is awarded the next mess of jets and hires in droves. I suppose one of my points here is that we, as union members, can fantasize about turning this contract around... but this guy isn't holding his breath until I vote on the next TA. Perhaps a more appropriate subject, today, would be "how to enhance our terrible schedules using banked sick time."

We need 5/hr. daily trip rigs and more Jack Daniels minis. I don't like mixing my booze.

Are there really any experienced 121 guys willing to start over at the bottom for what Mesa pays?

And, if there are, would they be able to pass a psych evaluation?
