Hell my leg back from Mexico today we flew it at .70 because of a strong tail wind with a GS of 390. Total over block = .6......... Over block= more hours= more pay. And now with wifi on board you can do all that you normally would during a sit in the terminal so why rush. Plus after the last TA who gives a s*it. I aint doing the company any favors. I don't get paid enough to care about on time performance.
You don't get paid enough- yet you pay for the go-go wifi ??

Grab 4 buds and buy the year pass and split it. Cheeper than my data plan on my cell phone per month.

Yep. He said that while, at the exact same time, giving flying to subcontract regionals. It's year one of the Eagle contract. In the next year, TSA is supposedly investing money to upgrade the FMS in all the new airplanes. They're doing this for one year? That isn't a TSA move.

Pretty sure you get paid exactly the amount to which you agreed in exchange for operating an airliner the way you're supposed to. Flying super slow to get paid more is ridiculously unethical and makes you pretty sh^&&y at your job. I f&^*ing hate flying with those guys. Of all the weird, non-standard stuff people do, that one is definitely the most shady.

How is leaving 10 early and arriving on time "unethical"? However, if we're speaking of flying slow to make passengers miss connections I completely agree with you.

No, I have never seen that. I've been requested to maybe .70 by ATC, but at .65 you're approaching or you're at green dot...

Exactly. It's like when I fly with fo's that are surprised that I ask for shortcuts. That's what a line guarantee is for.

Would you mind telling me the name of the hotel? (PM is fine). Not trying to stalk the Mesa crew, just making sure that if it is the same one that we stay at, the proper people know about this.
