"I can' believe the Feds let those planes leave the gate."

"I felt fatigued after riding in their jumpseat and watching them try to fly an arrival."

"A guy (mesa FO, I think) tried diverting around some weather that was painted on his radar that turned out to be the city of Lubbock."

"They are always screwing up taxi instructions (in DFW). God forbid they ever go to ORD."

"Parker must own Mesa stock or something. There is no other explanation."

"They should keep all their (Mesa) planes painted in US Airways colors. It's embarrassing to see them in Eagle paint. Passengers don't know the difference."

There was one positive:

"If my last flight is ever running late, I know I will still make my commute home. It's Mesa...and they are ALWAYS late."

Those are some of the ones that stick out right now. Go ahead and shoot the messenger.

It's cool, we're still down with the Airways guys.

For what it's worth, a whole bunch of us want nothing to do with the Dallas system and even bid to avoid it. The reasons are numerous and well documented, so I won't go into it except to say Envoy can have DFW if we can have our old market share in PHX.

During a bad day, from wx or mx, I ALWAYS tell the passengers, "Thank you for flying "American Eagle"

.
Funny I've been doing Ord to Dfw since last July and get nixing of what you are claiming.

Are you serious? You work for Mesa. Of course nobody is going to say anything to your face unless they are the world's biggest douche. Certainly not in the jumpseat...

This is the kind of attitude that makes Mesa so laughed at and hated around the industry. Clueless and naive. Enjoy your next ride in the jumpseat. At least now you know what they are really thinking but not saying around you.

You do realize that the quotes you used pale in comparison to how bad you make yourself and Envoy look to the entire industry that reads this forum? I notice the looks that Envoy people give out, and I really have to say, it's mainly Envoy. I've never noticed a nastier, more spiteful pilot group than the few bad apples you guys have. I personally could care less if you were furloughed tomorrow, lost your career, and we took all of your e-jets. I have empathy for everyone else, but not you guys. Was it not telling enough that when we first came to DFW, that Envoy was actively sabotaging our operation? That your ramp tower managers had to be fired, especially when one of them tried to start a fist fight with our chief pilot? That we cought your rampers purposely breaking our floor boards in the rear cargo bins, and had to fire all of the ones pulling that crap? You seem to forget that US Airways took over AA. That Mesa has a long history working with Airways, and it really should be the other way around that you guys are lucky to even still be around. Speaking of commuting, Envoy has been failing me with cancellations, I have more trust in my own airline.

So reading your last few posts, you bash: Mesa, Republic, ExpressJet, and SkyWest. You really need a life.

Yeah, insightful. I worked at Mesa for years and up until recently. I have seen both sides of this coin. Only people who refuse to see reality are those hanging on to thin threads at Mesa. Life is much better when you get out of that career trap.

Who do you work for?

Bashing? Nope. Only airline that deserves that is Mesa, but go ahead and find a quote of me bashing anyone else. People deserve to know the truth about Mesa, especially coming from someone who worked there for years and got out. The number of PMs I receive of people who agree is tremendous. The number of pilots from other Regionals and Mainline I speak to in the real world who agree about Mesa is astronomical. It only upsets me that I didn't leave Mesa sooner...but you know. I fell for the quick upgrade trap...thinking I would get swooped up by mainline within a year.

The more people I prevent from making the same mistake the happier I will be. I'm like that reformed crack addict who went away to prison for 10 years and now helps troubled youth. I've been there and done that and know what it's like. If anything, working at Mesa is just like being on crack and/or spending time in Prison.
