No we don't. 16 hrs per day for new hires and none for DFW based pilots.

No, not saying a SkyWest pilot is better than a Mesa pilot at all. What I am saying is that given the choice to work for more money under better conditions or work for less compensation under worse conditions, I would choose the former. Wouldn't you?

Good Post, I was mislead and am now looking for my next move.

I like my co-workers here at Mesa, but at the end of the day, it don't pay the bills...

And not all Regionals are alike, look at the pay and the benefits. Even if you make Captain at Mesa, if you pay for Mesa's Benefits, you will be making less than an FO who has been at another for a year or two.

Bottom Line:

How much suffering you willing to endure to work here?

Yes definitely. Srry for the confusion, I thought you were heading somewhere else with that.

Just wondering if you guys have CDO, Standups, Nap trips or whatever they are calling them these days? My corporate gig is coming to an end in May and I'am sick of 21-60 day trips around the world. I currently live in DFW and use to fly for ASA when they had a base there back in the day. Mesa is sounding like an easy gig doing standup trips. The only other option for DFW is going with Envoy. Pay sucks at both so what would be the better option? I have a little over 4000 121 time too and know that helps a bit but have not flown 121 since 2004.

- If you absolutely must come here, go to the CRJ. While the recruiter will tell you that the EJET does everything for you, it's much more complicated than that.

Do yourself a favor, keep using Microsoft Flight Sim and don't quit your day job.
Bet you're fun to fly with.

ExpressJet has a DFW base as well on both the CRJ and ERJ I believe. Might be worth it to look at them as well with much higher first year pay and the UA interview on the ERJ side.

You'll get a $15,000 sign on bonus by coming to Envoy, and a no interview flow to AA to keep in your back pocket. Not having to commute is worth it's weight in gold...and you already live in DFW. PM if you have any detailed questions.
