This company cannot afford to be firing anyone for a botched line check right now. All they will do is pull that person offline, give them some sim time, sign them off and send them back to the line a "reformed individual" where they will demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and aeronautical expertise!! We are so short of pilots in both seats its not even funny. Anyone who was flying around Texas this last week and had to deal with tracking, maintenance, etc, can confirm just how jacked up things are getting around here....

Bottom line is people need to stop going to that dumpster fire (putting it nicely). Worst pay and benifits (no signs of getting better), worst hotels and treatment of crews and just an absolute joke of a crew tracking department. When you need help and have to deal with $h!t bags like Valerie in crew line you'll see the lack of compassion or even care this company has for any crew member. Not to mention the joke of travel benifits to try and get home for commuters. Walking around in DFW is hard to do when you see the Mesa guys/gals standing around a gate looking like puppies trying/hoping to make it home for their two days off. The only two things worthy of note are the training department and the APD's who actually do care about making Mesa a better place with one arm tied behind their backs and the regional cp's in DFW and PHX.
I'm long gone but have buddies there who share the stories of that place. If you're a noob and looking to get some time there I can promise you better opportunities exist elsewhere. This company has no future and shouldn't be included in yours. Good luck to all the folks trying to make the move out of that place!

Its a suite with a kitchen. Its not bad. The shuttle takes you to the grocery store or Walmart on demand. But yeah, Mesa is a very difficult place to work the first 2 years until you upgrade. Low pay, terrible and I mean terrible benefit package (worse than really any job I have ever been familiar with in any industry), along with a number of other previously stated complaints.
