does Mesa do more than average number of line checks? Once a year or 2 years is required..but ANYtime a check airmen is deadheading, he'll ride upfront and do a “standards check”
Plus other random checks. I average 1 or maybe more A MONTH. No exaggeration. Maybe the CA or FO is due, maybe it’s a deadheading check airmen... but man alive. It seems like borderline harassment!

Active Pilot counts. Highest I have seen since starting to track.
Deficits on CA side on Ejet (CA VS FO) is 52
CRJ is the other way - More CA than FO, deficit is 35
Net Gain/Loss:
DFW CA +8
DFW FO +9
PHX CA +2
PHX FO -3
IAD CA 0
IAD FO -8
SDF CA +1
SDF FO +1
IAH CA -5
IAH FO +9
Last year the pilot count peaked in August.
