Mesa 3.0

1. A lot of newbies are getting (requiring) more sims than was once the case.
2. Hiring at the majors is increasing the requirement for both upgrades and newbie training.

True and don’t forget the shortage of 175 sim time that’s available while they still pump new aircraft out of the factory

I picked up because I had vacation and only had min credit, I need at least 85 hours a month. I did my best to split pairings lol. Hopefully they will need pilots on those days at least. I got my 300% belly full for the summer.

Summer Ops 2019
It’s nice to get an email from management acknowledging our efforts but it’s easy to see what upper management really thinks of us. Our pay is now the lowest again with only Commutair close by who only flies 200s. Captain pay is roughly $15 bucks lower than what’s now becoming the norm. PBS unstacks most of us ignoring half of your bid every month. We only get commuter hotels when it’s convenient for them and not standard like almost every other regional. We stay at the worst hotels it’s hard to accept a JA when they want to send you to that crappy Hawthorn in ABQ Clarion or HoJo in EVV. Instead of investing in the current operation there are reports Mesa has tried buying its second foreign airline. Almost every airline has some type of premium pay past 85hrs not Mesa. Virtually no recourse to make schedule changes. If you appreciate what we do prove it. Throw us a real bone not some stock buy program.
