Look at the AF portal, REAMO site for a list of AGR spots, usajobs.gov will have ART jobs.

I think with UAVs on the upswing, year remotes forcing guys to exit at a staggering pace and guys like me turning down POS assignments and punching, the numbers don't indicate a future VSP for pilots, esp 11M. The ATA speaker from AFPC, Tate Johnson, chief of 11Ms, said we were about a thousand pilots short last year and had 900 additional taskings tacked on this year(UAV, white jet, AMLO, year remote). Math don't look good. The AF is slowly realizing there is a growing flood of guys leaving now as it is, for example, my squadron had 7 of 35 IPs punch for VSP 2006-2007, then 5 more got out this spring and 5 more leaning that way in the fall, with 3 total replacements. That means my buds in the C-130 FTU are hating life now, and no replacements expected this fall either.

I personally think we should divert more combat-ready assets to hand out towels in the base gym, and supplement the lawn nazi force.

YES! There are at least 5 AGR openings right now at Creech AFB.

I'm not kidding...

Search the AF portal for the reserve net and look up AGR opportunities.

Perfect job for ya!

At some point you gotta ask yourself "is the money really worth living in these crap holes?"

I guess if I was single I would go do it. With a family though, no way. Life is too short to waste it in the butthole of the earth no matter how much they pay.

Good luck with that, the Saudis are more unsafe than teaching the Iraqis. I had a buddy who was in Saudi 2 years ago on a year remote teaching C-130s, he REFUSED to fly the last 4 months and went unqualified, because their MX practices were horrible. Maybe that is why they have to offer 220K.

Well said, and the answer is not only no, but **** no!
The Air Force doesn't get that money does not make up for not having any quality of life.

Default AF to halt drawdown

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/...rce/index.html

"Story Highlights
NEW: Defense secretary announces halt to planned cuts in size of Air Force"

doubt VSP will exist now, with force shaping turned off, or so it sounds like.
