Yeah no kidding, I wouldn't hold anything against the guy.

So it's 1315 on the left coast, any updates from you guys back east?

In related news, I saved a PDF copy of the entire issue complete with Timmah's article. ALPA may delete it from their website, but I grabbed it before they could. Anyone know a free file sharing website I can upload it to for your amusment, or would that be poking the bear?

Done:

Google Docs

Pages 22-23 will now exist forever in cyberspace. Well, at least as long as Google is around...

From the ALPA page:

To All ALPA Members:

We have been advised by several sources that there may be misinformation, misstatements, or misinterpretations in the article “Mature Beyond His Years” published in the April issue of Air Line Pilot magazine.

We take these allegations very seriously, and we have begun an inquiry into the facts of this matter.

At the conclusion of this inquiry, we will take appropriate action to correct any inaccuracies.

...so he's gotten almost 3,000 hours in just over 3 years...with 2 training cycles where you get very little stick-time for a couple months at a pop?!!

Little Timmy's been fudging times, eh? Maybe flight instructing on the side while sitting reserve? Oh...forgot, he isn't a CFI.

AMR HR might want to cover their 6 and review his application for any inconsistency.

Funniest post yet.

I'll get the ALPA pdf up as soon as I'm home from work, done faking being a military pilot, and able to access google docs.

Edit:
Sorry purpleprom, no longer the funniest post. Just saw this over on the thread at Baseops

"When is the First Annual Tim "The Milkman" party? I say every year at the end of March, the Airline guys get together with the Military guys in a set location and drink some beer. It's also required for each party goer to dress as their favorite Tim Martin character.....Viper pilot, firefighter, recuse diver, EMT and soon to be Prison *****. "

The part ALPA didn't print is that he was jumpseating on USAirways 1549 with Scully and Skiles, and actually took the controls while Scully worked radios and Skiles ran the QRH.

It wasn't Scully's glider experience, it was Timmy's seaplane experience that saved all those people.

And then Timmy threw on an airtank and hooked up the tow lines, and located the missing engine on the bottom for his fellow rescue divers.
