Not yet that I could find. I googled his name under News with no hits.

Not to mention there have been claims that he is also an FFDO.

I hope not. I am somewhat familiar with the screening process. It's hard to believe he could have survived the psychological interviews.

You should see some of the fruitcakes at my carrier who are FFDO status. If they'll give some of those characters guns, they'll give them to anyone with at least 3 stripes.

We've already got an NTSB that wants to mandate crap that no pilot should live with, a DOT that panders politically, and a Congress that wants to legislate how we do everything, then punitively monitor your voice recorder/DFDR data. Giving stuff like this to the media....

I was thinking more along the lines of squashing the loose hiring standards at some of the operators, and enforcing the "moral character" standard of the ATP.
