There are multiple factors which cause fatigue. One of them is poor nutrition. The obvious one is improper rest. Circadian rhythm shifts are another. Some people wait until they are draggin ass to call. I don't let myself get to that state. It's not good for my passengers or for me.
I know my body well enough, and have been around this gig long enough to know when I'll be properly rested. And I take the necessary steps, afforded by agreement, to ensure I'm well rested, well nourished and safe to fly.

Friend said he saw a Longitude in the Netjets hanger recently. Impressive airplane.
The Longitudes are a super midsize airplane, like the Challenger 350s. They will supplement that fleet. The Xs and Sovereigns will be slowly disposed of, with the Xs going first. The passengers really like the Challengers. NJA needs more super midsize jets. But management decided to purchase Longitudes instead of more CL-350s. It'll be interesting to see how they compare.

So it's a fallacy that fatiguing will negatively impact the over 12.1 pay. I'm sure it will happen sometimes. But on the whole, it won't matter.
It will 100% impact your W2. NJA needs X number of hours flown per day. When everyone stops fatiguing, X number of hours are spread over a higher quantity of pilots. You don't think that out of the blue, there will just be hundreds of more hours per day flown, do you?

You are comparing the current workload to current fatigues. The math doesn't work if everyone stops fatiguing.

Yea I think his point is, and mine as well, that fatigues are not a normal means of obtaining everything you listed, in the rest of the industry. It is a means to rectify an abnormal situation to your work schedule. Being ran into the ground every tour and just fatiguing once or twice a tour shouldn't be the standard. Now, NetJets created that problem, not the pilots, so you guys have to do what you have to do, to mitigate those issues.

NOBODY has been fired at NJA for calling in fatigued. And nobody I know abuses the policy.
Calling in fatigued just to get a chance to use a meal deviation WOULD BE abusing the fatigue policy. That’s the point.

Interesting. I’ve seen the Latitude up close and I was impressed - and I heard the Longitude offers several improvements and upgrades over the Latitude.

Is the “proposed” Hemisphere then basically a Falcon 2000 replacement? Let’s hope they figure out the engine issue ASAP...

As a result of this TA, I wouldn’t doubt I’d we saw MANY 200k FOs... easily.

Small cabin.

They’ll be on the 72LT or 76LT.

I’m happy for them and their families.

Large Cabin will get in striking distance of small cabin PIC pay with the OT, longevity bonus and 40k payscales.

You’re a silly human being. Easily? Is that with your 10 day a month extension plan?

Between his 2-3 banned screen names and his current one, I venture that he has said the most comically innacurate things on APC over any other individual, and that’s saying a lot. He’s like a Scientologist, just keep spreading the nonsense and if 1 out of 100 bite, that’s a victory.
