Mmmmm mmmmmm MMMMMMMMM your Flav-Or-Aid is still tasty, isn't it?
We all spend an inordinate amount of time fixing problems that THEY created or apologizing for them. Yes John, problems that THEY created. All the happy happy, joy joy thoughts in the world aren't going to change that.
What is really frustrating is SEEING the train wreck coming, calling them to fix it, and being told NO or, worse yet, being ignored with a passive aggressive silence. Passive aggressiveness is something you are really good at so it's not surprising you embrace it.

You didn’t play many team sports growing up, did you?
GW... you’re setting yourself up for failure. This operation is far too diverse, random and varied for every variable to be completely predictable to those in CMH.
Your prompt, professional and thorough input will not only help them help you... it’ll help YOU help YOU.
Or, keep doing what you seem to be comfortable with. It just seems like that technique isn’t paying you much positive result.

So, instead of helping the entire team in CMH better understand the scenario you’re facing in attempts to fix it, redirect around it, etc, you fold your hands and sit in your Gulfstream, barring yourself from the outer world?

I've been giving them "prompt, professional, and thorough input" for TWENTY FREAKIN YEARS and it has been on very rare occasions that they actually heed the advice and fix the problem before it becomes apparent to the customer. That is a corporate culture problem that hasn't changed and isn't likely to.
As for team sports, yes John, I did. All my life. Including NCAA Division 1 for a program that has won 4 national titles in just that one sport. This job ain't a game. It's just a job.
Now, go ahead and have your last word like you always must and then I'll put you on ignore here just like I have over there.

I hope you find happiness or retire or both, if that’s the only way to achieve it.

Do you think Ken Ricci will take care of the kapos when he buys NJA after Warren's death?

Well I’m sure someone has flight duty summery files from back in the day that they can access. I have ones from when they were recalling but guys were still on the street and several people were extending. iCloud is great...a few check airman and a few other guys I don’t know.

We had guys “on furlough” that hadn’t accepted recall for years past the offer to come back. Some had military commitments, others employment contracts, etc.
Surely, you can’t mean those who were technically furloughed but wouldn’t accept recall are the same as furloughed for real and on the street?
So far as extra time even being available to fly, furloughed pilots or not... NO extra time was available in my legacy fleet the entire time I was on it. That includes the entire furlough period. NO extra time was available until 2015 in my new fleet.
I’m pretty sure that easily includes the entire legitimate furlough period.
I’m calling “Fake News” (has to be a bad source) on you. And that’s fine.
But review those Duty Summaries to be sure.
