Jason left a while back unfortunately. It will be a far different training class than you remember.

It's looking like everyone will be offered a recall by the end of January and the next logical step will be new hires sometime next year.

Any idea of how many pilots per month they would be looking to hire? Every NetJets pilot I run into says they are understaffed...

No idea on that, but they have been recalling for classes of about 30 pilots a month. The understaffing has been masked by the vast amount of extended days active NJs pilots have been willing to fly during the past few years. By the contract language though, the company is staffed just fine. However, attrition is higher than normal lately and new aircraft are starting to be delivered.

Default Netjets Hiring 2015

Any guess on the competitive minimums for new hires in 2015?

ok so they offered recalls to everyone. Dont they just start at the top of the list and keep going through it? I was under the impression that as long as you are senior to someone you can refuse and they will have to come back to you...

Yes, you are kind of correct. Each time the company wants to run a class, they must start at the top of the list and offer recalls to all who remain. It is then that the bottom crewmember/s must either accept recall or defer. (Note I put the s on crewmember as there is some disagreement over whether that word is singular or plural in the contract.)

If they still have not filled the class at that point they may hire off the street.

The word from guys going through indoc is that NJs plans to hire at least 200 new pilots in 2015. I'm not sure about the competitive mins. I start indoc in December.
