In a nutshell, XO was at the pinnacle of the non-Netjets Part 135 world, with a fantastic pilot group who enjoyed good pay and benefits, a super, employee-friendly corporate culture , and happy passengers. Pilots were waiting to get on there like fanboys standing outside of the Apple Store on a new iPhone launch day. Then, they got acquired by Malta-owned VistaJet, who took a wrecking ball to XO’s corporate culture and closed their KMCC operation and moved to FXE, turning them into another “South Florida Part 135 Operation”.. =(…. IMHO.
