If it were me, I'd go to CVG. The interview is the first step of many. They'll take a much deeper look at you during training.

In short, there have been much more competitive times in the past where you really have to edge out your peers to get a look, but right now, it's more about you proving your competence to fly single pilot IFR. You have the interview, I'd say your fate is in your own hands. Good luck.

That's what I needed to hear. I agree, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a grumpy interviewer anywhere that I should avoid. Thank you very much.

Can someone give a quick rundown of the new HWD base? Lots written about OAK but not much since the move. Equip? QOL? Upgrades? Facility? Number of a/c? Number of pilots? Any and all info is appreciated.

In talking with Sheri during my phone interview, she mentioned that in next months class, everyone is going to HWD.

The whole base, minus the buildings, moved to HWD. Mostly a PA31 base, very hard to get into the 99 or Metro with all the seniority there.

Do they even have Metros? I thought the last one left a couple years ago.

T,

They got one for the night run, and I believe one for DHL in SFO.

How's life out there without the Brasilias going to West Texas?

No Metros @ HWD. 1 1900. The night run, is now covered by a 99.
