Hi, are you hiring PIC directly into the 120? Where are the bases for the 120?

Freightdogs, can you tell me a bit about the schedule for ONT, what the routes are like, and what aircraft are based there? I live reasonably close, and currently meet the minimums for ACP and might be interested if there are openings.

Thanks!

Are you hiring direct entry captains for any airframes other than the metro in SJU? If so when is your next class date? I have over 2,000 hours currently and already live in San Juan. What is your training contract length? Looking to make some moves and would like to avoid going regionals in order to stay in Puerto Rico... Thank you!

Burbank or Ontario (our other CA base) is definitely an option as a new hire.
No, you do not need to fly the 99 first to fly the 1900. Based on your times, you may be qualified to jump to the 1900.
If you don't mind, what are your times? TT, ME, XC, Night, PIC, Instrument, Turbine? Feel free to comment back here or PM.

Thank you!

Hi!

We're looking into several new bases on both coasts.
Expansion is on the horizon, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Hi!

We do hire Direct-Entry Captains for the EMB120. We do not currently have any positions open, but we are evaluating our needs and will likely have some open in August.
The bases that fly EMB120s: BFI, CVG, SLC, SJU, PHX, and PDX.
Home-Based Captains (those that don't live near one of our bases) can also fly the EMB120.
Here are the preferred time requirements for the EMB120: 3,000 TT, 500 ME, 500 XC (defined as point to point), 100 night, 1,000 PIC, 200 instrument, 500 Turbine, 121 or 135 experience

Hope that helps! Feel free to ask any other questions you have!

Hi, there!

Definitely!
The schedule for our ONT routes is typically Monday through Friday, morning to evening.
Typically, you'll have three legs; the legs for ONT range from one to eight depending on the route.
Aircraft out of ONT: Beech 99, Beech 1900, and SA227.
At the moment, we don't have any ACP openings, but will likely open them again later this summer.
We also have a BUR base close by!

Feel free to ask any other questions you have!

Hi, Turbine4Life!

We do not currently have any SJU Captain openings on our site, however we are still taking applications and would be happy to consider you.
We fly BE99s, BE1900s, and SA227s out of SJU. Based off of your TT, you would likely qualify for the BE1900 and we'd be happy to see an application from you.
Here are the preferred mins for that aircraft: 1,800 TT, 250 ME, 500 XC (defined as point to point), 100 night, 1,000 PIC, 100 instrument, 100 Turbine, 121 or 135 experience

Please, let me know if you have any other questions! We'd love to work something out that will keep you in Puerto Rico!
