What are some of the junior bases a new hire would likely be able to hold year round at this time?

I don't think there's a Virgin Gorda base for the Islander.

Ah true, I never looked at that part of the bid packet!

Would one be flying more than the guarantee with the lines out there?

Quick question, does anyone know or remember how far into training they assign you a base? I'm wondering how much time I'll have to search for housing before I move.

All lines are guaranteed 46 to 49 hours a week except SDY lines, which are determined by the company after you get the base. That works out to $137 to $200 in overtime a week on year one pay.

Would getting STL out of training be a possibility?

I wouldn't count on getting STL as a base anytime soon.

You'll have a better chance at getting a midwest outstation before you'll be able to get STL. Hub bases don't have many pilots so they tend to go rather senior.
