The BIL base went more senior because it's one of the few hub bases Cape Air has. The outstations went much more junior for the most part.

Hopefully those SDY based people did their research! Ouch!

I'm pretty excited about starting, but I'm nervous about where I'm going to be based. Do new hires get to "bid" on the open bases or are they just placed there randomly?

You'll be able to bid once you're in training. The next system base bid isn't until next April, so an interim vacancy bid will happen before that.

By the way, welcome aboard!

Thanks! That helps explain things.

What are some of the junior bases a new hire would likely be able to hold year round at this time?

I don't think there's a Virgin Gorda base for the Islander.

Would one be flying more than the guarantee with the lines out there?
