Wow....judging by the silence it must be great. :-)

I would be very interested to hear what life is like for a new hire at Cape, from interview to the 2nd month of flying or so.

... FO life...

After the interview it might take up to a week to get a response on whether or not you got the job. If you get the job, they'll email/mail you an offer letter/contract that you have to sign and email back. After that, they'll email the pre-employment packet. Fill it all out and have it in a week before ground school. Get your butts to Hyannis the day before ground. Holiday Inn Cape Cod-Hyannis... Welcome Home... 2 weeks of ground followed by anything from 6 to 12 weeks of flows, sims, and flights depending on the time of year.

To be continued...

Anyone on here in the Dec 1 class? Just sent in my packet the other day but still haven't received my login/pass for the company website. Anyone who is currently in training what is the typical day like?

Life as an F/O is a lot of flying and long days. 4 on 4 off typically 14 hour days. I am flying about 6.5 hours a day. 5am to 7pm almost everyday.
