Still, many people told me it's gonna be a bad decision and waste time cos I cannot build turbine time.

Beside Spirit, any major/ULLC or Fractionals(netjets, flexjet) would care turbine time?
Why not somewhere like Ameriflight that actually flies turbine equipment instead?

NetJets and Flexjet will hire you. Both have upgrades to PIC in less than 2 years. FlyExclusive is another fractional based in Kinston, NC that is hiring with quick upgrades. All of them offer home basing unless you're really, really, out in the boondocks.

Ameriflight requires 2000PIC or turbine time. This is the one of the reasons why I asked whether turbine time is matter. Many majors and fractionals prefer turbine time.
That is why I am slightly reluctant to apply Cape Air. Because I do not want to waste time at Cape Air if nobody values that experience. At the same time, I do not want to wait and sit until regionals start to hire me.

The only reason NetJets upgrades are only listed as 2 years, is because the lull in hiring post Covid. Hired today; it will probably take longer. But no real idea what that number is.

Please cite your source. Current openings on their website are 1,200 for the BE99 or caravan and 1,800 for the BE1900 or Metro. FWIW.

http://ameriflight.hrmdirect.com/emp...rt1=26543&#job

BE1900
1,800 TT, 1000 PIC, 500 hours XC (defined at point to point), 250 multi, 100 turbine, 100 hours instrument (50 must be in aircraft), 100 hours night

Beech 99
1,200 TT, 500 PIC, 500 hours XC (defined at point to point), 50 multi, 75 hours instrument (50 must be in aircraft), 100 hours night

anything other than beech99 you need turbine time and more than 1500 flight hours.

From their website. “Our ideal BE99 candidate must have 1,200 TT, 50 ME, 500 XC (defined as point to point), 100 night, 500 PIC, 75 instrument”

https://w3.ameriflight.com/pilots/ca...pilot-careers/

BE99 IS twin turbine PIC time.

So what is the issue here? Typical progression over there (assuming you meet part 135 PIC mins) is to start in the BE99, gain experience, and if desired you move up into the type rated equipment of the BE1900 or metro. Either you have 1,200hrs to be hired or you don’t. Your fascination with the higher mins still seems irrelevant, unless you are trying to avoid the 99.
