I really don't see how they are going to find anything close to the 402, for the aquisition costs of the 402.
Short of buying the rights to the 402, building it themselves, I really don't see it happening! Cessna might take it, it would release them from supporting them!

I mean I'd love to have a HBC Premier stretched to an 18' long cabin capable of M0.80M @ FL450 and 2200nm NBAA range after departing HXD on a 35C day while carrying two pilots and 4 passengers for $7M acquisition and less than $1000/hr direct operating cost...but much like new-production C402s it ain't gonna happen!

if it ain't one thing, its the other. There will never be a plane that can replace the 402 for a similar acquisition cost and not be a turbine.
Cape air should think of upgrading all together if they plan to get out of the 402. If not, Cape air won't last for more than 20 years unless they plan to completely rebuild their fleet.
