Have you ever met a surfair pilot?
Think of it this way. You have a pilot that is always cheerful, and loves to fly that doesn't have as much hours as most guys but is still very experienced.
Or you have a pilot that is a real ******* to people with 10,000+ hours, that just wants to fly and get paid.
If I had the ******* pilot flying me around i probably wouldn't fly with who ever he works for again. SurfAir is very careful with who they hire. Doesn't matter if the guy before the other guy that got hired had more experience.

Sorry but you are talking about an industry that serves the top 5%, verses an industry that serves the top 95%. You cannot be surprised that video game manufacturers get massive amounts of funding do you?

Look on their career pages. It is simple. The biggest thing that gets you hired is your personality. Who cares if you have 4,000hrs in a PC12, if you do, great but it all comes down to who you are.

What's with requiring an ATP? It's single engine and I've never met a person with a SE ATP, and what good does a ME ATP do? -- You still only have Commercial privileges when operating SE. Since they require an ATP for captains are they going to get the SIC's a SE ATP when they upgrade? It would be cool to have a SE ATP if someone else pays for it, but that's about it.
Is prior pc-12 experience mandatory for Capt?
