Does this mean you are hired into a pool or is it more a thanks but no thanks? Kind of a confusing email.
It means just what it says. You passed the interviews and Boutique would like to hire you, but at this very moment there aren't any positions that are not already spoken for.

It may seem like a form email for 'thanks but no thanks' but I received this after interviewing in January. Two weeks later I was called and offered a class date. The next time positions are open they'll call you to see if you want it before interviewing more candidates.

Hmmm. I applied for a CA position in Denver back in January. Reapplied 2x's since and all I hear are crickets, not even a phone call. 7,000+ hrs. TT and 2,500 PIC. I guess there is such a thing as too much time for Boutique Air because it doesn't make sense.

With your time their is no good reason why you would want to work at boutique. Don't do it

For some people, being home every day is more important.

We probably don't share the same goals.

Default How competitive would I be

OkStateBryan, you seem to be the person with the knowledge.

I am looking to transition from instructing to get better time and a solid schedule, plus I want to get back to my house in NC with any luck. I am gunning for ATL, which would be an easy commute. I have 1030TT right now, still instructing daily, CFI, II and MEI, also military but, not an aviator.

I got the same email about application is being reviewed...

Seems hit or miss. Somewhere I read they were only hiring about 50 pilots this year. That may have been on the high end.

Personally I want to fly for them because (1) the equipment (2) don't have to commute (3) more personable than large 121 airline flying (4) would be enjoyable to pass along things I've learned to lower time pilots (5) shorter routes vs. LAX to OKC or DFW to SFO. (6) get to try something completely different
