Was talking to a current Airnet pilot a week ago, he said their business model has changed and most of the flying is now daytime on-demand flights. They put him on either the Caravan or Baron, as the flight requires. Flight hours per week usually around 20.

Do any current Airnet pilots know which bases they are hiring into? Thanks for any info you may have!

Bump, I'm also interested into learning what bases they're hiring into.

I've got a friend who works for Airnet out of CMH. He's not optimistic about their hiring anytime soon. They have furloughed four pilots in the last six months.

Thanks, I also heard some not so good news either. As for it being factual, I'm unsure but I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

Default Ameriflight

Anyone who was considering working for Airnet should also consider working for Ameriflight. Ameriflight will be absorbing much of the business Airnet was doing. Anyone can PM me about what its like at Ameriflight, I'll be happy to share my experience. It's not difficult to get an interview, but if you want the job then start reacquainting yourselves with IFR procedures. The airplane and company procedures will keep you plenty busy during training. Also, if you look up our payscale online its outdated. We have a new payscale now. Goodluck, happy hunting.

According to a source I've talked to at Airnet, all of their pilots are currently listed as part-time. He said even part-time was a little overzealous. As of right now, the Starcheck boys are only flying a fraction of what they were a few months ago. I wouldn't encourage wasting time pursuing AirNet at this point.
