I know a few that failed upgrade at Piedmont and are now Airbus Captains and had no issues in training. We have to remember back during the Dash days there were guys in the Training department that held grudges on a few individuals. Not saying they didn't deserve to fail but these selected evaluators...….. we'll I leave it there.

Some of those dash dudes were total turds. They also weren't young, so the immature argument doesn't hold water. They viewed the sim as their personal torture chamber and were at their jobs for all the wrong reasons. I see no need to make excuses for them, and they never even failed me. Good riddance, and I'm glad no one is quick to forget the way they were. I know I haven't every time I see them in CLT

Looks like the incredibly low and easily attainable goal of 20 a month they currently can’t reach, BTW apparently instructors aren’t allowed to tell us the NH class sizes...
Contraction is inevitable... right now, republic, endeavour, skywest, and express jet are all better choices four pay and qol.... unless you really need the flow, background issues, check ride failures etc... aa manager is doing everything they can to squeeze the wo pilot group right now.

Question is we’re they shooting for 20 or is this just part of the class size draw down that’s been talked about.

In the April, the stated goal was to hire approximately 300 pilots in 2018 which works out to 25 a month...

16 NH w/ 2 DECs is a bit light.

no they wanted 20 this month.

We will not make the 800 pilot goal this year... I am interested to see how many poeple have not shown up to system class all the while collecting a pay check.

Word is a September system class had something like six folks show up... not the expected turn out it seems.

Anyone reading this board. Do yourself a favor and aboid this place. It will take you a year to even start flying the line from indoc. Lowest paid at the regional level. Lowest time off. I wish I would have went somewhere else! Just trying to prevent others from making the mistake I made....

Will be interesting to see how many from my Indoc class are still on the list when the next update comes out this week.
