Then why are you attempting to implicate BL, who is not an MEC officer?
I get it, you're pro-JG. I have no problem with that, but you've failed to make a valid case for why someone should not vote for BL. A spasm of non sequiturs doesn't form a point.
Because he's a dedicated, motivated, capable volunteer. As such, he should be allowed and encouraged to pursue whatever position he wants. Limiting someone's options because they're good at what they do is a poor way to manage employees, and an even worse way to manage volunteers.

Right. So American looked at six empty seats normally filled by Piedmont pilots and didn’t ask any questions? And all SIX piedmont pilots who were supposed to flow and “didn’t get scheduled for a class” just shrugged and said “whatever.” And ALPA isn’t screaming that Piedmont effed up? Anyone who believes this actually happened is a moron.

If I had to guess, there needs to be some sort of meeting set up or grievance filed in regards to this. That kind of stuff doesn’t happen over night.
I would be ****ed at the Union if they flew off the handle with an accusation they didn’t follow up on thoroughly. However, if the company shorted 6 pilots of a class date due to “administrative” reasons, this is HUGE. I would hope at the very least the flowing pilots would be given the entire month off with pay as some sort of reparation for that.

Right or wrong, what do you want the Union to do about it?
