They probably don’t have to put it out to a vote, look at your MEC bylaws. Regarding being a Captain to be eligible to flow AAG has said that they want that as a requirement at all of the WO. I’m sure they’re just waiting for the right opportunity at Piedmont.

Where and when did AAG say that? I am not calling you out, I would just like to see it for myself.

I'm down for it. The bar is already way lower with the flow, and even with a captain requirement, it's still far lower than it's ever been.

I get staying a FO if you just want to enjoy seniority. However Piedmont has several first officers that have failed upgrade training multiple times. In my opinion they have no business flowing to AA if they can’t pass upgrade.

Ive had several fos that made more than me last year... at piedmont, pay is no reason to upgrade.

I mean, they didn’t come out with a press release or anything... This is just what PSA management has told us. AAG wants all of their WO flows to have been a Captain. So like I said, you’re the only one without that requirement presently. I would expect them to try and change that.

So they’re not “good enough” to be a career FO at AA, but it’s perfectly fine for them to continue to fly at PDT? Hopefully they can handle things when sh1+ hits the fan and the captain croaks...
