Im sorry a 8 thousand dollar raise to make 70k as captain is a no go in this market.
Fix our crap inefficient schedules.. pay us what we deserve.. treat us like humans..
As others have said.. until we get improvements, I can not in good faith recommend anyone to come here or any of the aa WO for that matter.
In other news.. republic might be announcing closing phl base... the wo fly cheaper now as republics costs have skyrocketed.

Depends on when there’s an AIP that turns into a TA, but you’ll only have about 20-40 folks who are on the line flying and still on probation...

If you take any increase just because it's slightly better than what we have now YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. That would be like putting sprinkles on a dog turd and calling it a sundae.
We are in the drivers seat. They will bring our pay and QOL up to industry standards, or this place will not get new pilots. It won't keep current pilots.
We are better than this. Wise up

I would bet they would be way more willing to accept small increases that we should (and will) resoundingly reject if put before us.

If you are on probation you can’t vote. That simple. Let negotiationing do their job, don’t be in here spouting what you personally would accept. Say it with your vote when the time comes. If you can’t vote, open your ears and learn.

Despite being one soon, probationary pilots shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Majority of them have no idea about the regional industry and are even more susceptible to fear tactics. It’s one of the reasons the Skywest deal got voted in last year.

I strongly believe that getting Endeavor-type rates is a non-starter. Maybe Republic-type rates, but I doubt that very much too. It simply isn't that desperate yet. The issue is getting bodies to the line, not filling classes. Will that dry up? Maybe so...but that bridge we haven't crossed yet.
To pass up increases in QOL such as changing the interface, more min days off, reserve rule gains, etc.. is very short-sighted. They say the company would trip over a dollar to pick up a dime. Sometimes our best intentions might end up leaving us missing out on the dollar now, in hopes of $1.50 later. When is later? Next year? The year after?
That later ($$) will be driven by need, not negotiation. The team and strategy is noble, but the venue and timing may be incorrect. It is going to be a marathon and not a 100 meter sprint. Those that are the "now" generation, will probably be disappointed. This is how stuff actually works. Fly safe, ladies and gents.
