PSA "Latest & Greatest"

No real idea... but looking at the new lines, far fewer with any time off during the “holiday period,” and the total block hours goes up quickly, meaning fewer lines with under 80 hrs.
The screw up was they gave us too many lines with holiday period days off,
And at the same time made it too easy to bid a low block line and still get the holiday pay.
I call shenanigans!

So more lines have Christmas off than before? 45% had it off before, 51% have if off now?

well after having read the company email it appears that they had built lines incorporating flying that were parts of November’s flying that were carry in days from November. So they said they had multiple trips at the beginning of the month that were double staffed. This apparently meant they needed to completely rebuild December lines and have us re bid.
Just remember this is the company that wants to handle PBS a much more complex system. They can’t even build simple lines correctly.
I’ll keep line bids and SAP any day!

The pay for first officers at Endeavor has not gone up, so I doubt it would really attract that many people (unless they don't understand what was voted in). The AA WO still have a flow, and Endeavor does not. AA will match the pay, and likely one-up them and make it even higher. So no real reason to be concerned with people not coming to PSA.
I would expect business as usual at the AA WO for at least 6-7 months. Everyone expects that the pay will be raised here and several other good benefits will be negotiated. If by that time we don't have something close to being signed, then something might change.
I have a friend in the latest class and he said that many of the new hires are from other airlines. Several of the lower paying ones or ones with no career progression jumped ship and came to PSA. That will likely continue.
