Anyone know how to anticipate if you'll get called out on short call reserve?
Example, The reserve grid shows 16 on reserve, 1 open duty period and 15 net reserves .... I assume one pilot gets called? How do they decide the order who gets called first? Seniority? Just trying stay ahead of it and get a handle on it if possible... looking at a month of SCR

In truth, I don't think anyone even knows, including scheduling. There are changes we'd love to see to the process, that's for sure. If you're going to be a new FO and willing to go to one of the bases with quick times to Round 1, it won't be much of a big deal for you. Just grin and bear it.
Now, the Street Captains that came here a year ago and are still on reserve, they might have different advice for you.

PSA Helps.
Ok on the new thread now! I appreciate it. Also it looks like the charts posted by Tall Flyer are looking better and better for shorter reserve time. I am still looking at TYS since close to home, even if upgrade time a little longer.
