They can move someone on SCR to HRV. I think they said something about liking to keep two crews on HRV during the busy times. You don't bid HVR but get assigned it while on SCR. If you get the phone call moving you to HRV, then you have two hors to check in at the airport. After you check in, they have to use you within a certain amount of time (I think it is 8hours) or send you home for the day.

CLT time is dropping because we are upgrading 25+ per month, and almost 200 so far since January. CLT is our largest base, and most upgrades are coming from CLT. CLT reserve has dropped from about 9 months on reserve (after you get out of class) to about 2 months on reserve. That is pretty darn good.
It looks like CVG R1 has increased about a week. It is still less than 3 months after class ends to hold a R1 line. 0.45 increasing to 0.50 is not much of an increase. That is an increase of 18 days.

Ok, so you guys that actually know what's going on....why the huge (in my opinion) drop on the FO R1 line for CLT and increase in time for CVG?
Are there more flights going out of clt?
Are there more people going to cvg, thus less flying to go round meaning increased times?
I may be absolutely wrong in my guesses of contributing factors, so if anyone could please explain it to me on what's driven these changes.
And if I read it right, day is so shorthanded that pretty much the moment you show up on property you're BU?

R1 is Round 1, whch is a line award that includes the option to add and trade more freely creating more days off, or more credit, or sometimes both.
BU is a line that is composed of the trips that are available after R1 is completed. So once everyone senior to you is done cherry picking their trips they award a BU to you, but it offfers some flexibility and is preferred by most everyone over RSV.
