Delta hires more PSA pilots than AA.

Well given those accounts it appears Delta may already be working their strategy! From what was said it had been discussed “unofficially of course” a few times already. All I know is if the trend has already been leaning this way I’d definitely put significant effort into getting a look from Delta. I guess we will see soon enough.

Believe it or not, most WO regional pilots don’t bother to apply at AA outside of the flow. I know that most of our pilots hired outside the flow have been LCA and management pilots etc... But there have been a handful of “regular” line pilots hired too. Always worth a shot in my book. If you’re applying at DA, UA, etc... Might as well click the box for AA too.

Obviously you haven’t applied it’s a different app on a different website.

The best thing that most PSA pilots could do to help their fellow pilots out is quite literally to GET OUT!

Career progression happens faster for EVERYONE at PSA when people get hired OUTSIDE the flow...

The best way to do that is to keep updating apps for everywhere you consider worthwhile. Also, keep doing things to build your resume to make yourself more competitive as an off-the-street hire.

Keep in mind that hiring qualifications at UAL/AAL/DAL and UPS/FedEx are changing...remember the temporary pilot crunch felt in regional hiring about 2 years ago? It will likely never hit the majors, but will result in reduced qualifications being demanded of new-hires at that level.

Do YOURSELF and your FELLOW PILOTS a favor and...
DON'T JUST WAIT FOR THE FLOW!
