If you want to live in DAY, DCA, or ORF, come on in the water is fine. If you want to live somewhere else you'll be commuting.

I wouldn稚 mind DCA, but I thought it was senior.

Eh... Relative to what? Senior compared to CLT or TYS? Nah. Senior compared to ORF? Yea a little...

Seniority to hold a line, vs most junior person on reserve that got it as a Street Capt are very different things.

Not much of an improvement. Once the assignments are done by computer (June, maybe) we may see a bit more of an improvement.

Actually at least on the Captain side you can hold round one in CVG in about 2.7 years as opposed to 3.8 in Dayton. Dayton is the third most Senior base behind CLT and TYS.

Oh and the reserve "improvements" are arguably the worst thing to happen to reserve in a long time. Which is impressive considering how awful reserve is here.

We're a company that instead of making reserve less unbearable in order to convince FO's to upgrade, they simply decided to force upgrades so their will never be an incentive for management to genuinely improve reserve.

I'd say the union went a step further, and told the company not to worry about their contractual right to junior man the upgrade, but rather to force the upgrades from the top, and for icing on the cake, told them they could do it while displacing them to whatever base they want while considering it voluntary. Thanks, union!

Queue the fanbois and apologists saying blah blah blah about voting for reps while blatantly ignoring the fact that at the time of the CLT rep vote 50% of the seniority list wasn't eligible to vote... (I'm throwing out an imaginary albeit roughly close figure because I just don't remember and I got more important stuff to remember)
