PSA vs ENY vs PDT

Going WO won’t close any doors for ya. A lot fold will tell you to go to EDV here and commute to sit reserve in NYC or Republic where you will be on the backside of their hiring curve.

Republic can go either way. You're either behind, or if their plane order actually happens the way they say it will happen (100 new planes for growth), you'll be in the front of that wave.

I think I read that most of those orders are replacements for existing airframes. Unless UA and DA decide they want to park CRJs and bring on 175s I’m not sure where a bunch of new airframes would go due to scope limitations.

Agree fully. Plenty of upside in the short term to EDV or RPA (and now to OO and likely even XJT), but I choose to take the long view & I’ll pay the cost of insurance in the short term - everyone has to answer those fundamental questions for themselves, I guess.

Like I said, it's a coin toss. And it's still just an LOI. Everyone can do their own risk/reward calculations for that.

Now that being said, I think the amount of retirements at the legacies will help curtail any effects an economic downturn will have for pilots looking to move on from the regionals. But it is worth noting...
