One thing thats actually helped me reduce stress a lot was working on a plan B. I dont have anything firm lined up but as odd as it sounds I feel better working towards a plan to keep the lights on for when the F bomb drops. Brushing up the resume and browsing local job listings is a nice distraction from the chaos and uncertainty. Good luck to you guys, we're all feeling the pain here but if you're smart and determined enough to be a pilot, you're smart and determined enough to do something else until the ship rights itself. It wont be easy but this is the hand weve been dealt.

From the time a vaccine is developed, I think i remember the experts and talking heads saying that we’re still a year away from it being mass produced, distributed and administered.

The issue goes far beyond the virus. The economy has taken a massive hit. It hasn't been too measurable by traditional factors because of all the government stimulus. But it's just being temporarily propped up. Even if the vaccine comes tomorrow, it's going to be a long haul recovering. Unemployed people don't buy airplane tickets.

Easy to say, nearly impossible to do. Human nature doesn't allow people to completely ignore something like this. The best you can do is to constantly evaluate yourself, especially if you continue to fly.
