So I would lean more towards the its just a rumor and nothing more. At this point though who knows? People who make a heck of a lot more than I do are the ones making those decisions lol

DFW got nixed well before Covid was even a blip in the news

No we don’t, there’s 6 departures a day.

No one at envoy thinks it may become a base.

PHX base is about as plausible as a conveyor belt preventing an airplane from taking off.

So you are saying there is a chance...?

You could say it depends on variables.

Reserve as a NH at PSA

Hey guys,
Finally, after almost 2 years of being in contact with PSA through the cadet program have a class date for May 24 (May 10 CTP). I'm sure there's a lot of you out there who would say don't go to the airlines now, but it's something I've wanted since I was a kid, and since I am young, with no family obligations, I can suck it up for the first several months if it's tough.
My question is, how bad is commuting on reserve, really? And, what advice would you all have?
I have a feeling I'lI periodically be based in PHL or DCA as a NH. I live an hour North of CLT, so once I can hold that as reserve it will be no issue relocating or driving to CLT. I have 2 other airports and CLT I can commute out of, and all of these airports are located central to where I live.
Financially, I can afford EITHER paying for my own commuter hotels OR signing a lease on an apartment in either PHL or DCA (Or DAY if I surprisingly got it) for the time being. I still have a warm place at home, so I can also come home whenever.

Also- I'd love to hear any tips for Class and the on boarding process!

Thanks,
M

I ended up back on reserve due to COVID. I live in Sacramento and I’m based in DCA. I made it work. Commuting from CLT won’t be terrible. Can always use IAD as an option to get in position for DCA.
