I agree with you, it depends on the individuals situation. I have connections with a corporate flying gig down in TX that I could always fall back on, and I’d rather being holding a seniority number at the big 3, then being on the outside looking in.

You don’t count on the flow for anything

but AA would be trying to get max $$ out of psa. The flow costs them nothing and helps keep labor costs down. It could easily survive

Who cares at this point. Pay will be the best at the legacies, sure. But they will feel the squeeze for qualified pilots the hardest. So I would expect the least amount of days off and more block hours. At least at United you can drop to 50 hours. Not sure that’s even possible at AA. And the flow won’t be a thing for a long time.

At this point finding something with great QOL is far more important than pay for me. The ability to drop flying to 0 and fly 1 or 2 trips /month would be ideal.

People drop to zero and pick up flying at AA, even some of the junior line holders do it. 150% premium is offered based on who puts their name on a list and seniority. Plenty of room on your schedule to accommodate premium or normal pay two days trips with only one leg per day.

Thats because the codeshare alliance between AA and Jetblue isn’t contingent on whether the Jetblue pilots vote yes or no. It’s happening....just depends to what scale, Jetblue focus city to an international destination for instance (BOS-CDG, JFK-AUA) or focus city to focus city (JFK-LAX)

JetBlue guys aren’t going for that . Don’t pin your hopes on that passing .

I don’t work for PSA. The codeshare is happening regardless of the vote though.

Town Hall

Well at the town hall MGMT stated that we're not expecting any new airplanes in 2021. No new bases either. Summer scheduling expected to have 119 aircraft flying. And we're hiring because..... we need to operate at full schedule and "be there when AA needs us"
