There has got to be something in the works from daddy AA coming down the line. PSA loses 20 airframes, company says they're grossly overstaffed and furloughs and downgrades more than any other regional. Nothing changes and no new airframes (yet) and they bring back everyone PLUS some people with CJOs. And also some of these people with CJOs haven't even done the ATP-CTP course so they're spending additional money to send them out there for that. Seems to be a strange strategy for sure.

Does anyone have the latest numbers on attrition? I know we had people bailing almost as fast as when the majors were still hiring at the best of times. I'm thinking it's more likely management had no idea we would continue to hemorrhage pilots after furloughing. It seems like they needed to thin the herd but turned up the heat too much. For example, I've never had a pay issue in my time here. Suddenly I'm having to file pay descrepencies three out of the last four months. Not to mention hearing of people not getting relocation pay after their base is closed.

I was wondering the same thing. I think I had heard somewhere all but like 60 or so accepted the recall? There's no flow and no one is hiring at the moment so I was wondering how many had left.

ACMI continues to hire. There are some niche plays (ie open your own 135) and plenty of second career guys have options in their first career.

Let me try and figure this out. Somehow in a buyer's market, AAG wants to sell PSA, and even more, having extra pilots on staff when they're now a dime a dozen is going to help make the deal sweeter?

The only way PSA would get sold is in bankruptcy and bundled with a sweetheart contract with newAA. That would not be a bad thing for PSA employees
