However with possible CEO changes in the future at AA and a unknown timeline for international travel returning all bets are off. You can plan that IF a major goes to bankruptcy it wont be the only one. Which means scope clauses and contractual restrictions our industry worked hard to gain, are now on the table yet again. |

Well I tell ya this guy must have known my prom date....I remember finding that lovely lady in a field one faithful morning. She couldn't dance at all but looked good in the dress.

Maybe, they were offered to buy PSA? And that information made it to the line pilots, but who knows. Something is definitely going on though if they are opening up the training department again. |

Apparently a rumor was going around OO of a potential buyout of PSA (more of a joke than a rumor). With how the buy out at ExpressJet went (complete disaster) along with our management claiming they’lI never do it again, I give that a 0% chance of happening.

I had heard skywest approached AA and offered to buy PSA, and along with that wanted WO status. Which AA told them to buzz off.

Which makes no sense, why would AA sell PSA to Sky West and then buy Sky West and make them wholly owned by AA? |
Breaking news:
PSA has changed its purpose statement from “To strengthen American Airlines and create opportunities for our people and our customers.” to ”To make a positive difference in the lives of each person we interact with every single day.” AA dropped from the purpose statement, but does it mean anything or is it just front office babble? |
