My class date is soon. My question is, is that starting class date the full duration of the course? Or is it just a 3 day stay at Dayton for orientation, and then back home, and then come at a later date for the full training?

If it's just for "orientation", how long will I stay in Dayton for, and how long do I wait for the actual training day?

I don’t think those two carriers compete for pilots.

This is what my recruiter sent me "10 Week Training Footprint

Indoc: Training will be conducted in Dayton Ohio (DAY) about 5-6 weeks long. Cover: HR, Benefits, Systems, Limitations, Procedures, Flows, Normal and non-normal procedures. At the end of the the 5-6 weeks you will have your Type rating Oral (there might be

breaks between events for scheduling reasons).

Simulators: Training will be conducted in CLT, CVG, STL, DFW (depending on sim availability) CLTis the main Sim base.6 training simulator sessions: 4 hour sim session 2 hours pilot flying 2 hour pilot

monitoring while your partner is flying. 1 MV maneuvers validation: All normal and emergency procedures, single engine approaches, go-arounds, normal approaches, rejected takeoff, steep turns, and stalls. 1 LOE Line Operational Evaluation: (type rating/ATP checkride) consists of two normal flights from point A to point B, with a non-normal issue.

IOE: Initial Operating Experience about 50-60 hours with a line check airman in the aircraft. About 1 month to complete (25 landings required). After IOE is complete training is complete."

Glad to see I wasn’t the only one to get a chuckle from that.

Lol ZeroTT is definitely not a recruiter nor is trying to recruit folks to PSA. Truth hurts lol…
