Two things to add to this. First one being I believe the reason TYS does not have hot reserve is that they don't have an approved quiet room that's required by contract. Secondly I just talked a friend of mine who is LGA based with AWAC and he informed me that they are closing the domicile in LGA sometime in Jan 2010.
I have a buddy whom is based there. And you are correct about TYS and the quiet room. HOWEVER I would say DAY has our new quiet room in the HANGER! Cockroaches all over the place too! Its awful!

In October USeless Airways will be bought out by American and another large airline. We can only watch and see what happens to their associated regional airlines. At least that's what the word on the street is. We can only hope they keep PSA and Pedmonster in tact. But who knows, you know what they say about rumors, and I love how people with less then 2 years on the job have all the answers. It makes me laugh.

There's been a rumor that's to be announced in October? I've not heard that one..... Stock prices in general are looking good about right now... Some key stocks that have a good indications on the economy are looking a lot more positive. Lets just hope this economy recovers quickly and see what happens.... I've heard the whole American thing a few times, but I think a lot of that had to do with the LGA deal. I dont know if I would put much thought into it, but Parker did say in a crew news there would be some news that the "East Pilots" will be pleased with if its settled..... That made me wonder.....

So those whom have been educated, follow trends, and have worked for other airlines are not allowed to think outside the box and brain storm? A lot of people with the greater deal of wisdom just dont give a damn and thus do not follow the current rumors..... Just a thought.... How dare someone from new hire to 20 years on the job even think about having a thought on various topics.... Didnt realize you had to have 40 years of service to speak on things you've heard and or word on the street crap that amounts to NOTHING.

if so, that sucks, i have my hopes high for a recall before next summer, you know with the new regs (duty time), better economy, .........
