We will all be stapled. Most likely furloughed. Don't worry Doug will be well taken care of. Cause that's what matters most.

Interesting. We get kicked to the curb as mainline east pilots take over CLT's E concourse? I can't think of anything that would make the east pilots happy other than some kind of quick growth that allows for rapid movement for the bitter 20 yr FOs. Aren't most of the furloughs on the west side? What Airways fleet strickly flies the east and could possibly benefit only mainline's east pilots if removed or replaced? PSA and Peidmont.

Time to dust off the resume and get caught up on the logbook.

A little dramatic don't you think? They'll probably keep us seperate until they absolutely have to merge us which could be never, or, just mix the planes and merge us. Even if we're stapled I doubt many, if any, furloughs. Besides, I REALLY doubt that it's merger news coming out.

It is time for another merger in the on going Merge-Paint-Furlough cycle of Us Airways.

AA buys East (22 more CRJs are coming next year to help fill E), and DP will sell West, the WOs (less the 700s), and the 190s to RAH.

This is all b$, but three years ago, I never thought RAH would get Frontier and Midex, either.

I'm all for an AA merger, so long as they integrate us at PSA into Eagle by relative seniority.

I'd worry about them parking the 200s if that happened.

I doubt that, seeing that eagle operates 50 seat aircraft, but even if they did, that's fine. I'm all for it if they would merge our lists by relative seniority. I would be a senior FO in Dallas.

Keep in mind AA still has ROCK SOLID scope. Only airline able to fly anything larger then 50 seats is EAGLE. No jets over 70 seats even if its by Eagle..... And you could count on American and Usairways pilots not allowing the 70 plus seaters being flown by others. But do I really think any more mergers will happen? No, but its interesting to discuss I suppose.
