My concerns:

1. If/when we get new airplanes (say they're Mesa's 900's)... There pilots would come with it and blend into our seniority list, so if we were to furlough again down the road, the junior guys at PSA would be first to go...

2. And also if USAPA wins the lawsuit on the scope over "large RJ's"... we at PSA could lose these 900's and therefore lose our pilots that have put in a few years here and already avoided a furlough...

I understand how great it would be for ALPA but honestly i would hate to see the PSA guys/gals that have survived and been recalled to end up further down on the list, never see the right seat and in the worst case lose there jobs again or be at an even bigger risk of doing so if things went bad again...
Why does it seem like everyone is OK with the thought of MESA integrating into PSA's list? Personally I don't care if they are on the PSA list but they should be stapled to the bottom. It would not be a merger so PSA wouldn't even HAVE to take them. Why should the bottom PSA guys be punished for NOT going to MESA. I would rather not get the jets than have to sit below MESA guys.
This really is a moot point however because I don't see it happening anyway.

Speak this to Mark Stanley when he comes in and let me know when you get your response. There's a lot of reasons why to DO this and very few why not to. Only concern you should really have is that we do not want to go into this as the lead airline. It should be done when all the Regional Carriers are ready to agree on it. Not an individual airline leading the way, and then no others follow.

What's the latest at PSA? How is the staffing after the recalls? I hear there is a lot of flying being traded around among the US Air express regionals? My biggest questions is, what "future" flying is PSA referring to on their website? Next spring? Any feedback is appreciated!

The latest is that there are still quite a few pilots out on furlough... unfortunately I don't think we will see an substantial hiring for a few more months at the minimum. Stay in contact Dolph.

Not that anyone probably cares, but I sent an update copy of my resume to PSA last week and got a response from someone named Rachel Hernandez. It appeared to be boilerplate and said while they are NOT hiring, they are collecting resumes for the future. Just thought I would pass that along.

Where did you see this "future" flying? I have not been able to find that. The only thing I can think of is that PDT is going to lose 7 more planes to bring it to a total of 11 planes. However, many may disagree with me here, if we do get all our recalls back I would hope we take on ALL PDT pilots who get furloughed before we bring in anyone from a pool or what not. Now dont get me wrong, I want things to happen and all who are swimming to have a job. But I dont want our sister pilots at PDT to be without jobs and us GAIN flying and all of our pilots back at their expense. In addition if MESA does tank who knows what will happen. But you can guarantee AWAC/RAH would pick up a lot of that slack IF something did happen with that.

J4J was in the past.... Not happening again. They didnt want to work on the flow through and back. They are out of luck with their pilots. The group as a whole does not appear to even slightly want to entertain the thoughts of J4J's or anything of the sort.
