How so? Prevent this pilot group from topping out on the scale? This TA already does that with Caps. They'll need us here now to fly these damn planes. Who else will? You see they're offering referral bonuses already. Got called for a jr man twice today and we haven't even started taking planes.

Wholly owned carrier all money basically comes from the same place.
Mainline needs 1 pilot.
It currently paying PSA capt. At year 12-18 pay
It can hire an outside candidate and still pay the PSA captain and the new guy
Or it can hire the PSA capt. Now pay him year one FO bus, upgrade a PSA FO pay him year 6 RJ captain, hire PSA of year one RJ pay.

Hire guy off the street at Airways. Train 1 guy.
Flow a PSA guy to Airways. Train him at Airways. Train replacement upgrade at PSA. Train new hire at PSA.
Lots of costs associated with that one since PSA is a wholly owned.

"New aircraft, new look"
Are you guys fing serious? I think they left out "new reputation," although for many, this really isn't a new reputation for PSA.
Also, to People Mover, I can assure you few mainline pilots know what is going on at PSA, and the ones that do, feel the same way the rest of us do.

Training cost would be recouped in two years if not first year.
