I am currently an FO at a stagnated turboprop regional and have a few questions for anyone willing to help.
First off how many total crews are based in CLT vs the other bases and how hard is it to get in CLT after training then to hold a line?
How are the lines for days off on the most junior lines? Number and length of legs? (I know 117 will change a lot)
Any idea when the next class is and if there are still spaces available?
Thanks to all in advance for any helpful information!

A year to year and half to get off reserve in CLT. Probably shorter day and Tys. Also 117 has made this shorter also. Dec. only had 5 reserve lines for FOs in CLT one being long call.
Min. 11 days off. Normally 3 sets of 3 days off and one set of two days off for reserve.
Number of legs varies from 1-6. Length of legs varies. Half hour CLT-avl, gso, gsp. Phl-bwi
Last I heard they are interviewing every week (or attempting too) and running one class a month of as many as they can get to show up.

Want some advice? Stay away from PSA or Endevor. They are the cancer killing the regional industry. If you have any respect for yourself or your profession, seriously think about lateral moves to these companies. Lateral moves in general are rarely a good thing unless you have very little time invested in where you currently are. There are always exceptions, but they are few.

If you're an ace, goto expressjet, awac, compass, or eagle.
Did I leave anyone out?

Majority of those other regionals are working on a new contract. It would be stupid not to see what happens with the new 117 rules. PSA's contract is locked for 10 years.

He can always leave if he feels like there's a superior contract to be had and in the meantime he can enjoy more QoL and probably more pay than a prop airline.
It's also possible this guy lives in CLT, which would make it a no-brainer.
