They want as many concessionary yes voters at mainline as possible, they'll hire them all.

You also need to take into consideration that if PSA ever has a staffing issue for these new airframes, it won't be taking PSA pilots and have their Express operation suffer because of crew shortage.

It is written in the TA. PSA can hold pilots for operational needs if needed till the end of the year, but pilots must be released to Airways to meet the TA requirements before the end of the year.

ie. worst case you get hired in jan. Held at PSA till dec. (could be several hundred seniority numbers)

Yeah because those agreements are ironclad. What's airways going to do? Sue themselves?

Not many things are ironclad. But the agreement isn't airways with airways. It's airways with PSA ALPA, it is something that can be grieved or taken to court if needed, it would be ALPA vs airways.

So in other words, it's regional ALPA vs parent company? I'm sure there's 1 or 2 loopholes in there.

This forum is amazing! I just retired from the Marines, served in 2 wars, flew F-18's in combat, trained new pilots, and now I'm headed to PSA. If you think I'm a clown and flip me off in the terminal......at least have the courage to get close to me when you do. So, I can respond in kind.

Keep Calm and Fly On,

BB

I'm interested to know what your background has to do with underbidding fellow crew members when we are supposed to be "unified".
